YOGA FOR FERTILITY: THE NATURAL WAY TO BECOMING PREGNANT

Yoga for Fertility uses traditional asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing) to become developed into a program to target mens' and womens' reproductive health and to facilitate a physical environment best suited for conception, naturally. We specifically design our program to reduce stress by balancing the endocrine system, engaging proper alignment of the body, increasing blood flow to our reproductive organs and increasing stamina and enhancing our own energy to optimum levels conducive to conception.

In addition to improving overall muscle tone and strength, our pranic energy (breathing) strengthens to enhance blood circulation, providing necessary oxygen and nutrients to improve the chances of conception.  Asanas aid in soothing the body and mind while simultaneously physically stimulating reproductive organsby stretching and pressurizing the organs in our bodies responsible for reproduction. Blood circulation increases as a result, allowing more energy and nutrients to flow with ease, bringing renewed vitality to our reproductive organs.  Besides helping to provide better mental clarity and physical vitality, our program provides better communication and stronger interconnectivity between partners.

Different yoga practices connect with different practitioners. We offer three forms of our Yoga for Fertility program: Fertility Vinyasa Flow, Fertility Hatha and Fertility Restorative.

Fertility Vinyasa Flow is a 75 minute fast-paced yoga program, getting our cardiovascular system pumping, providing an excellent yoga therapy workout. Expect to sweat! And to feel great afterward.

Fertility Hatha is a 60 minute yoga program, synchronizing breath and movement while focusing on glandular strengthening. You will find Fertility Hatha to be much like traditional yoga classes, and well suited for beginners and those who have been irregular yogis in the past.

Fertility Restorative is a 60 minute yoga program with each class designed to increase flexibiilty, holding poses for an extended period of time to rejuvenate organs and calm the mind.

A study at the Harvard Medical School demonstrated that stress does in fact impact fertility.  The study found that women who practiced yoga were twice as likely to get pregnant than their female counterparts who did not practice yoga.
